we are a volunteer-led collective making endometriosis visible through publishing, community-building, art, and research.

Endo violence was created in crip time—through pain, exhaustion, and collective care. This book is open access and free because endometriosis knowledge should not be locked behind paywalls. But free doesn’t mean costless.
You can support us by donating through our Ko-fi page. Your donation helps cover the unpaid labour, hosting costs, and resources it took to produce this work. Supporting us means valuing disabled labour and making health justice accessible to everyone.

The seminar takes place as part of the exhibition Breaking this Silence, which will be on view from July 15 to September 19, 2025, at the Galerie Alice Guy of the Institut français Berlin.
It is a collaboration between the Endometriosis Academy, the Endo Violence Collective, and the University of Leeds, bringing together collective knowledge, creative research, and academic perspectives. At its core is the concept ofEndo Violence– a collectively developed approach that sheds light on systemic injustices in the lives of those affected by endometriosis. Through talks, open dialogue, and collective reflection, the seminar creates a space for critical exchange, solidarity, and visions for more just futures.
ENDO VIOLENCE MAGAZYN
is not confined to traditional forms of
expression. We embrace an anti/disciplinary approach, inviting contributions in various artistic mediums such as photography, poetry, and digital art. By doing so, we aim to amplify the voices of those affected by endometriosis.

Endo violence refers to the systemic, structural, and interpersonal forms of harm, oppression, and neglect experienced by individuals with endometriosis.
